Registration is now open for the 16th annual Run, Walk, and Ride for Lory’s Place, the grief healing and education center of Caring Circle. This year the event will be held virtually due to COVID-19 and all participants can choose between the 5k route online, pick their own route, or run or walk on a treadmill. They can also ride in their car or on anything with wheels including wheelchairs, bikes, or skateboards. The event will start Saturday, September 26 and run for two weeks to allow everyone to complete the 5k in their own time. It costs $25 for anyone signing up now through Tuesday, September 1 and $30 after that. Riders fees are $15 per person, and everyone gets a T-shirt. More info is at lorysplace.org/rwr or calling 269-983-2707.

Since opening in 2004, Lory’s Place has supported over 37,000 children and adults after the death of someone significant. They have also offered peer support groups in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties.
