Benton Township Police are investigating the death of a four-month-old boy. They and Medic 1 Ambulance Service were called to a home on Blossom Lane for an infant who was not breathing. He was taken to Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph and was pronounced dead there. Child Protective Services and Western Michigan University are also involved in the investigation. The child’s name has not been released.
