Michigan is reporting 557 additional cases of COVID-19 for Monday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says there have been a total of 87,960 cases of the illness in the state since the start of the pandemic. The state reports eight new deaths for Monday, bringing that total to 6,257. As of Friday, more than 63,000 people have recovered from coronavirus in Michigan. For Monday, Berrien County reported 14 additional cases for a total of 1,198 and 65 deaths. Cass County reported five additional cases of COVID for Monday, making for a total of 305 cases and 13 deaths. Van Buren County reported nine additional cases for Monday for a total of 413 cases and nine deaths.
