Since many college students are not able to do an internship this year because of COVID-19, Hello West Michigan will hold a virtual professional development conference for them next Thursday. It’s called West Michigan Intern Connect. Executive Director Rachel Gray says it’ll cover positive communication, remote work, and adulting.
“Adulting is really looking at the topics like what is it really like to go from a student to a young professional? What are all of the things that young professionals experience that maybe you didn’t learn in the classroom, but are really important life lessons?”
