State Releases COVID-19 Totals For Thursday

Michigan is reporting 592 additional cases of COVID-19 around the state for Thursday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the total number of cases in the state since the start of the pandemic is now 45,646. There are 93 additional deaths for Thursday, bringing that total to 4,343. The Berrien County Health Department is reporting ten additional cases for the day, bringing the county’s total to 354. The county is reporting one additional death for Thursday, bringing that total to 21. The department says the patient was a woman over the age of 70 who had underlying health conditions. Berrien County has also has 210 recoveries. Cass County is up one case for Thursday, now with a total of 36. Van Buren County has five additional cases for Thursday with a total of 73. Both Cass and Van Buren counties have each had two COVID-19 deaths.
