Berrien County has six new confirmed COVID-19 cases to bring the county’s total to 248, while the number of people who have died from the virus remains at 15. The Berrien County Health Department is reporting 179 recoveries, up eight from Wednesday. In Cass County, the number is up by two to 31 with two deaths. Van Buren County has three new cases for the second straight day for a total of 49 with two deaths. Statewide, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says there are 980 new confirmed cases for a total of 41,379 and 119 additional deaths, bringing that count to 3,789. To date, 91% who have tested positive have survived in Michigan.
