Mim’s Furniture near Bangor in Arlington Township has been destroyed by fire for a second time. Firefighters from six Van Buren County departments spent several hours battling the flames and the smoke at the store on M-43, and were called out at 11:30 p.m. Monday. Bangor Fire Chief Derek Babcock says they’re asking the Michigan State Fire Marshal to investigate what sparked the fire. The business was gutted by a similar blaze on December 31, 2018. There’s no word on any injuries from the fire.
