An online auction will start this weekend to raise money for Lakeshore Public Schools. Lakeshore Excellence Foundation Chair J.C. Anderson tells WSJM News up for bids will be items including Disney passes, high-end Whirlpool appliances, spa treatments, gym memberships, destination golf vacations, restaurant certificates, and more.
“This is the most items we have ever had donated, and so we’re hoping that that turns into the best ever online auction that we have ever had,” Anderson.
Anderson says the Lakeshore Excellence Foundation is grateful to have a generous community.
“Our turn down rate is very, very minimal. We just have a very giving community when it comes to this particular fundraising event.”
Anderson says this is the fourth year the LEF has held the auction. Bidding in this year’s auction starts this Saturday, February 1 at 12 p.m. and runs through Saturday, February 8 at 9 p.m. Last year, the LEF online action raised $19,000 for Lakeshore Public Schools. The auction page is right here.
