An Edwardsburg woman will be sentenced in January to prison in Indiana for a deadly crash involving a motorcycle in June. Our partners at WSBT-22 report Nicole Nelson entered guilty pleas to reckless homicide and to causing death while operating a vehicle on a controlled substance, as she admits to smoking marijuana the night before. The crash in Granger killed a 54-year-old man. According to police, Nelson was speeding and there was dense fog at the time of the crash.
