Kathleen Brickley will serve another two-year term as the Chief Judge of the Van Buren County Courts. The Michigan Supreme Court appointed her for the fourth term, which will run from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021. This will be Judge Brickley’s fourth appointment. She will oversee the 36th Circuit Court, the 7th District Court, and the Van Buren County Probate Court. Judge Brickley is also actively involved with several initiatives around the state and region, serving as a member of the Drug Treatment Court Policy Council, the chairwoman of the Van Buren Community Corrections Advisory Board, a member of South Haven Rotary, and is president of the Van Buren County Chapter of Families Against Narcotics.
