Indiana Michigan Power expects 90% of its customers in Benton Harbor and Buchanan who lost power due to this weekend’s storms to have the lights back on by 6 p.m. today. Full restoration is expected by 3 tomorrow afternoon. There are currently 4,650 in Berrien County without power and another 750 in Van Buren County who are in the dark. Crews are working on side roads, in yards, and in neighborhoods today and tomorrow to repair the downed power lines. At the peak of the outage, I&M says it had over 31,000 customers without power in Michigan and Indiana.
