Like the rest of the country, Congressman Fred Upton tells us he is waiting for this Thursday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. That’s because the hearing will include testimony from Kavanaugh sexual assault accuser Christine Blasey Ford.
“The bottom line is her story needs to be told and that’s going to happen, and then the senators are going to make what I think will be a pretty quick judgement in terms of what they’re going to do,” Upton said.
Upton says he thinks members of the Senate want to take a vote. As for predictions, he can’t make any. Upton says he just wants to hear what Blasey Ford has to say.
