Andrews University is preparing for its second annual Change Day. Change Day is a chance for faculty, staff, and students to work at more than 75 local volunteer sites in seven neighborhoods and two counties to give back to the community. More than 1,500 volunteers turned out for last year’s Change Day. This year’s project sites will include the YMCA in Niles, Habitat for Humanity, the Therapeutic Riding Center, the Curious Kids Museum, and the Area Agency on Aging. Among other things, the volunteers will wash windows, remove brush, clean buildings, paint, and work with local students. For last year’s Change Day, classes at Andrews were cancelled so students could work at 63 sites around Berrien County. This year’s Change Day will be September 13.
