A Granger man has died from injuries sustained in a weekend boating accident on Big Fish Lake in Marcellus. The Cass County Sheriff’s Department announced the death this morning of 55-year-old Michael Mondovich and deputies now believe alcohol may have been involved in the crash that claimed his life. Mondovich lost control of a boat Saturday morning just before 9 a.m., hitting a pier and two other boats. At the time, police said he had suffered “a severe medical condition” and had passed out. An autopsy will be done to determine the exact cause of his death.
