A map of all the road projects planned by the Michigan Department of Transportation for this year is now online. MDOT’s Jeff Cranson tells WSJM News that, with it, you can see several details about each project.
“The times, exactly what the work is, and what it will mean in terms of your travel,” Cranson said. “Lane closures and things like that are all in those details.”
MDOT has released an annual construction project for years. Cranson says it’s helpful to those who do a lot of traveling, or just want to better plan their visit to Michigan. Overall, he says this will be a slightly slower year for state road projects than most while MDOT waits for the new state revenue stream to kick in. You can find the construction map right here.
