The Michigan Secretary of State’s office is working to get the word out about its online voting center, where it says you can find all the information you need for next month’s elections. Spokesperson Fred Woodhams tells WSJM News you can do just about everything you need to do at Michigan.gov/Vote.

“People can find their polling location, find contact information for their local clerk’s office, as well as view their sample ballot, or if they intend to vote by an absentee ballot, they can track their ballot,” Woodhams said.

Woodhams says each voter should print out a sample ballot and make themselves familiar with all the issues ahead of election day so there aren’t huge lines at polling places. He also reminds everyone the deadline to register is next Tuesday.
