The names of two of the Michigan State University students killed in a mass shooting Tuesday night have been released. MSU says sophomore Brian Fraser of Grosse Pointe and junior Alexandria Verner of Clawson were killed in the shooting spree. The name of the third student who was killed has not yet been released, due to a request by the student’s family. The shooter, 43-year-old Anthony McRae, had no ties to the university. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Tuesday night. Police say a note was found with him. The motive for the shootings is still under investigation. All eight people shot at MSU on Tuesday were students.
