BH, Buchanan, Stevensville crown Blossomtime Queens; Miss Spirit set for Jan. 21

Community Blossomtime Pageants have wrapped up for the  2023 season, with winners are being crowned across southwest Michigan.

Here are the results from the Benton Harbor, Buchanan and Stevensville events held over the weekend:

Miss Benton Harbor – Madison Collins

Miss Buchanan – Arianna Hankins

Miss Stevensville – Nadia Arend

 

Miss Spirit

This Saturday, 18 young ladies from communities across southwest Michigan will compete at the Miss Spirit of Blossomtime Pageant.

The competition is open to the 1st runner up from each Blossomtime Community pageant, and offers one more contestant an opportunity to compete for Miss Blossomtime and enjoy the many events and activities her sister queens will participate in.

Communities competing this year are Bangor, Benton Harbor, Berrien Springs, Bloomingdale, Bridgman, Buchanan, Cassopolis, Coloma, Eau Claire/Sodus, Edwardsburg, Hartford, New Buffalo, Niles, South Haven, St. Joseph, Stevensville, Three Oaks/River Valley and Watervliet.

The pageant will be held at the St. Joseph High School Auditorium this Saturday, January 21st at 5 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $25.

The winner of Miss Spirit will go on to compete in the Showcase of Queens/Mr. Blossomtime Pageant on Sunday, April 16 and is eligible to win all the queen awards at the Sunday night showcase. For the Miss Blossomtime Pageant she will also be eligible for all awards and titles including the title of Miss Blossomtime on Monday, April 17 at the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center in Benton Harbor.
