Arnold “Dewayne” Witt, 77, of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born October 16, 1944 in Pocahontas, TN to the late Carrie and Limuel Witt. Dewayne was a US Marine Corp Reserve Veteran. On June 29, 1974, he married Vickie Sue Deeds in Buchanan, MI.
Dewayne is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vickie; children, Mike Witt, Samuel (Dahlia) Witt, Carrie Witt, Keldrick Witt; sisters, Linda Nadasi, Becky Butler; 17 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carrie and Limuel; son, Daniel Witt; and brother, James Witt.
Funeral service for Dewayne will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, 945 Chippewa St., Buchanan, MI 49107. Visitation will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle. Burial will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan, MI.
