There’s a new director coming to the Bridgman Public Library. The library board of trustees has voted to hire Sarah Skinner for the position. She currently works for the Niles District Library, where she’s served in a variety of roles for the past six years. Skinner says she’s honored to be hired, adding “Bridgman is a lovely city and I am excited to be here.” Library Board President Edward Valauskas says Skinner will improve the library’s already strong relationship with local schools and enhance the experience for library patrons. He notes the Bridgman Public Library has strong community support, with its library millage renewed by voters this month with 77% support. Skinner starts September 1.
