Police are investigating a drive by shooting at a gas station in Berrien Springs early Saturday. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says it happened at the Speedway station at 105 North Cass Street around 3 a.m. Police arrived to find a male employee of the gas station had been shot in the leg. Witnesses told police there had been a fight in the parking lot and someone rolled up in a vehicle with a rifle. The suspect fired several shots toward the parking lot and the employee was hit. The gas station itself was also hit with several rounds. The injured employee was taken to Spectrum Health Lakeland with non life-threatening injuries. A suspect in the shooting, 22-year-old Ethan Hoge, was later found and arrested in Oronoko Township.
