AAA of Michigan has released the results of a survey that looks at what car buyers consider important when they make their purchases. AAA says better fuel efficiency and more driver assist safety features have been found to be the two biggest things people look for. The survey finds nearly 80% of drivers want automakers to focus on improving fuel economy. Another 76% want active driving assistance systems, like automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. AAA says addressing those desires can be accomplished with the latest batch of electric vehicles, which are considered the most technologically cutting-edge and fuel-efficient. AAA’s 2022 Car Guide finds the top rated vehicle is the 2021 Ford Mustang.
