The Michigan Public Service Commission will hold an online public forum next week to give customers of Indiana Michigan Power a chance to comment on the company’s integrated resource plan, its long-range strategy for development of electric capacity. I&M released the latest integrated resource plan last month and it envisions quadrupling I&M’s use of wind and solar energy by 2028. The MPSC hearing next week will give everyone a chance to learn more and weigh in. Chair Dan Scripps says it’s important for the MPSC to get input from residents and businesses in I&M’s service area. Chair Scripps and Commissioners Tremaine Phillips and Katherine Peretick also will attend the hearing. It will be next Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
