The Berrien County Election Commission has rejected four recall petitions filed against two members of the Lakeshore Public Schools Board of Education. The commission found Monday the petitions against President Jason Beckrow and Trustee Rachel Wade lacked clarity. The petitions sought their recall over school mask rules and for allegedly serving terms beyond when they are supposed to serve. Meanwhile, the Berrien County Election Commission has scheduled clarity hearings for recall petitions filed against some members of the school boards in Niles, St. Joseph, and Watervliet on April 12. Those are also over mask rules.
