Two men are facing murder charges in the death of their 82-year-old grandfather last year in Allegan County. Twenty-four-year-old Cory Nethery has been charged and 27-year-old Christopher Fitzhugh is expected to be arraigned today after a disturbance in his cell yesterday postponed that hearing. William Fitzhugh was found injured in his bathroom October 18, 2021 and died in December. He told police the two grandsons would beat him when he wouldn’t give them money.
