Police are investigating a Benton Township bank robbery on Wednesday. The Benton Township Police Department says a suspect walked into the Huntington Bank on Pipestone Road around 11:45 a.m. He demanded that the teller give him everything in the drawer and indicated he had a gun. He also threatened to kill everyone in the bank if the teller didn’t hurry. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen leaving the parking lot and heading south in a black 2000s model Chevy Impala or Malibu. Another suspect was driving the vehicle. The robbery suspect was wearing a flannel coat, a hood, and a stocking cap. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the Benton Township Police Department.
