A Van Buren County woman has died before her murder case went to trial. Attorney Gary Stewart told the court in a filing yesterday that Frances Collins has died and did not say when. She had been arrested in October 2020 for the murder of Donald Collins, to whom she was not related, on February 6, 2019 in Hartford Township. She was free on bond when she died.
