The Allegan County Health Department is giving away free adult KN-95 masks. It says they’ll be available for pick up starting this Tuesday at the Allegan County Human Service Building in Allegan. Curbside mask pick-up times will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Signs will be posted in the Human Service Building parking lot for pick up. The department asks everyone to stay in their car for pick-up. The goal is to get people using the more effective KN-95s or N-95s instead of cloth masks. It says wearing a mask while in indoor public places is a way to avoid contracting COVID-19.
