The Van Buren County Board of Commissioners has selected Randall Peat to serve as its chair for the year. Paul Schincariol will serve as the vice chair following the board’s organizational meeting this week. Peat has served on the board since 2019 representing District 5, and he’s active in the agribusiness community. He takes over the chair position from Richard Godfrey. Schincariol has served on the board since 2017 representing District 7.
