A variety of activities are planned in downtown South Haven this New Year’s Eve. The South Haven/Van Buren County Visitors and Convention Bureau says the fun will run from 8 p.m. to midnight. Everyone’s welcome to stop by warming stations offered by local shops, try some local restaurants, and hear music being played by a DJ. There will be a holiday train display at city hall starting at 4, special red carpet photos will be taken downtown starting at 9, there will be a coffee and dessert truck, there’s a skating party at South Haven Ice Rink starting at 9, and they’ll drop 1,000 beach balls from the city center at midnight.
