Bridgman Public Schools Superintendent Shane Peters has once again earned an A from the board of education. The district says Peters had his annual performance evaluation this week, and he’s been rated as highly effective. The board also voted unanimously to extend his contract through December of 2025. The district says Bridgman Public Schools has a graduation rate of above 95% and attendance at all three buildings is above 90%. With COVID, the board notes all three buildings have been able to provide face to face instruction and the district has improved and exceled in English and math with standardized test scores above the Berrien County average. All three schools received grades of A from the Michigan Department of Education on their most recent report card. The Bridgman Public Schools Board of Education says it thanks Peters for his hard work, and it looks forward to the future.
