1967 The legendary ‘Bigfoot” creature was reportedly filmed by hunters Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin, creating what is known as the “Patterson footage.”

 

Music History:

1977 44 years ago today, a private plane carrying the band Lynyrd Skynyrd crashed outside Gillsburg, Mississippi, killing three band members. Among them lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant.
