The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Friday night crash in Silver Creek Township that injured one man. Deputies were called to M-62 and Indian Lake Road just after 8 pm when 31-year-old Arturo Morales-Fiscal turned onto M-62 and was hit by 53-year-old Jack Baker of Berrien Center as he was north on Indian Lake Road. Morales-Fiscal was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for his injuries, while Baker and passenger Anthony Curtis were treated and released at the scene. Everybody was buckled up, but deputies say intoxicants were a factor in the crash.
