State COVID Numbers For Saturday Through Monday

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is reporting 6,093 new cases of COVID-19 for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday combined. That works out to 2,031 per day across the three days. The state’s COVID dashboard shows Michigan has had a total of more than 976,000 cases since the pandemic started. The state has had 20,535 deaths, an increase of 29 for Saturday through Monday. Berrien County showed a total of 15,165 cases across the pandemic as of Monday. The county has reported 284 deaths. Van Buren County has had a total of 7,315 cases and 134 deaths. Cass County has had a total of 5,294 cases and 74 deaths. The state’s vaccination dashboard shows 66.5% of the state’s population age 16 and older has had at least one dose. The vaccination rate in Berrien County as of Monday was 56.7%. In Van Buren County, it was 60.4%. In Cass County, it was 39.4%.
