The South Haven Police Department says the person who shot two others at the South Beach pier on Friday was 19-year-old Aiden Topher Ingalls of Bangor. The department was sent to the pier around 2:15 p.m. on multiple calls of a shooting. Officers arrived to find three people shot, two of them deceased. One of the deceased was the shooter. The other victim was airlifted to a hospital in Kalamazoo. That person is in critical condition. Police say they can confirm the shooter had no relationship to the victims, adding he acted alone. Officers recovered two firearms, one a 9 millimeter handgun and the other a pellet gun. At least a dozen spent casings were found, although police don’t yet know exactly how many shots were fired. Police are not yet releasing the names of the victims. WOOD TV in Grand Rapids is reporting Ingalls was a former Paw Paw High School student who planned an attack on the school in 2018. He was 15 at the time.
