Governor Whitmer will use $10-million to help flooding recovery efforts in Wayne and Washtenaw counties and the city of Detroit.

“All of our actions have one goal in mind, and that is help people who’s homes have been damaged and their lives have been disrupted. We’re always going to put Michigan families first.”

The money will help households that were flooded June 25 and 26. It will be used to create residential gap funding grant programs for people who are not able to get federal help.
