Utility work starts this week along part of Napier Avenue in the Benton Township area. The Berrien County Road Department says the water system work will mean lane closures and traffic could be delayed at times. The project is between Plaza Drive and Pipestone Road. The contractor will maintain one lane of travel in each direction during the eight-week project. Drivers are asked to remember to reduce speeds when traveling through work zones. Also watch out for construction workers and equipment.
