Set for next week is Cinema Week at Celebration Cinema. The theater chain’s Emily Loeks tells WSJM News it’s going to be an annual celebration of the theater experience with special deals and prizes given away at the movies. Loeks says Cinema Week comes at a perfect time.
“A lot of folks have gotten out of the habit of going to movies in the last year in movie theaters as we’ve been hunkering down,” Loeks said. “Theaters were closed, the industry kind of got disoriented, and now we have great movies back in theaters.”
Each day next week will have something special going on at Celebration Cinema. They’ll have a $2 Movie Day, a Free Popcorn Day, and they’ll give out VIP memberships. Loeks says it feels great to welcome people back to theaters as more big movies start coming out for the summer. You can find out more right here.
