Tuition at Michigan State University is going up by 2% this fall. The MSU Board of trustees approved the rate hike by a 5-to-3 vote. Tuition will not go up for families making less than a certain amount according to board member Diane Byrum.

“The headline here is that MSU tuition for 2021-22 will have a 0% increase for most families with an annual income of less than $100,000,” says Byrum.

Earlier in the meeting, a few former Michigan State Olympic swimmers spoke out to save the swim and dive program which has been cut.
