The number of new COVID-19 cases in Michigan for Sunday and Monday is 338, averaging 169 per day. The Department of Health and Human Services says there has been a pandemic total of 892,469 cases. There were 8 deaths to bring that total to 19,548 Michiganders have lost their lives to the virus.
For southwest Michigan, Berrien County had two new cases for a total of 13,900 with 270 deaths. Cass County had one new case and one death for totals of 4,791 cases and 72 deaths. Van Buren County had three new cases for 6,663 and deaths remained the same at 117.
