Have patience. That’s what the director of Michigan State’s Collegiate Employment Research Institute, Dr. Phil Gardner, says he’s telling new college grads right now.
“What we’re seeing now is a lot of mid-sized and smaller companies coming back in, and of course as the economy is opened, there’s all different kinds of jobs. It just depends on what the particular graduate is looking for and where they’re looking.”
Gardner says hiring has picked up since the vaccination rate increased, but he expects it will be even better in the fall.
