Saturday’s new COVID-19 cases are a little lower than the previous several days, but are still at 4,670. That brings the total since last March to 652,569. The Department of Health and Human Services says 22 people died Saturday from COVID-19 for a total of 16,026. In southwest Michigan, Berrien County has 11,521 cases, up 49. Deaths are the same at 231. Cass County has 16 additional cases for Saturday for a total of 3,992 and 63 have died. Van Buren County’s cases are up by just 3 to 5,115 and deaths are up 1 to 88.
