Uncertainty created by the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the South Haven Center for the Arts to cancel the South Haven Juried Fine Arts Fair planned for this July. The board of directors announced Wednesday because the fair takes months to plan and involves hundreds of volunteers and artists from around the country, the decision was made to scrap it for another year. The board says with “uncertainty of what will be both legally allowed and medically advisable in July, the constraints to planning our event for this summer are too many.” The South Haven Center for the Arts encourages everyone to support artists in other ways this year, and says it is planning to bring the fair back next year.
