The Region Four Area Agency on Aging is offering a class to explain the Medicare sign up process. Anyone who’s turning 65 soon and has questions is welcome to attend. The Area Agency on Aging says getting signed up for the program can be complicated and confusing for many. The class planned for April 15 will discuss the difference between original Medicare and Advantage Plans, if someone qualifies for valuable premium savings programs, the best time to enroll in Medicare healthcare plans, when you can make changes to your coverage, and how to protect against Medicare fraud. The class will be held virtually from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on April 15. You can sign up here.
