Illinois Man Arrested For Meth Possession In New Buffalo

A Peoria, Illinois man is in the Berrien County Jail after a traffic stop for meth possession and on a felony warrant from Illinois for delivery of meth. Darrell Lindsey was a passenger in a Jetta spotted going over 90 miles an hour on I-94 westbound in New Buffalo. Lindsey tossed items from his door after opening it, and the driver then pulled over. Officers found the meth that he threw from the car and deputies also seized over $11,000 in U.S. currency from a backpack. The driver of the car was allowed to go free, but remains under investigation.
