A 17-year-old Stevensville girl is in need of a vehicle and donations in her fight against brain cancer. Angela Tittle was diagnosed in September with brain cancer after her mother, Melissa Ward, says she had been misdiagnosed for months. The tumor is in her cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls motor function, and her doctor is reluctant to do surgery because of the location. Melissa explained what her daughter was suffering with.

“Headaches, she was passing out, she was dizzy, she was anemic,” Ward says. “Those may be signs of vertigo, but it was consistent and those are also signs of brain tumors.”

Angela spent a month at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids last fall, but was only approved for eight physical therapy visits by insurance.

“I don’t want to see another child get pushed off because they don’t know what’s going on.”

Melissa says Angela has an appointment Friday in Grand Rapids that they may need to cancel because Angela is sick and their Ford is too unreliable for the trip. Fundraisers are available on Facebook and on GoFundMe.
