New COVID-19 Cases Sunday, Monday Average 1,505

There are 3,011 new COVID-19 cases in Michigan for Sunday and Monday, an average of 1,505 a day. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says that bring the total to 551,080 since the pandemic started in March. For those two days, 35 COVID-19 deaths were recorded for a total of 14,326.

The state says Berrien County added 69 more COVID cases since Saturday for a total of 9,871. Van Buren’s cases increased 17 to 4,396. No COVID-19 deaths were recorded in either county, leaving those figures at 204 in Berrien County and 81 in Van Buren County.
