The Pavilion project at Spectrum Health Lakeland has entered its second and final phase. Spectrum Health Lakeland spokesperson Jessica Springer tells WSJM News Phase I was completed in March of last year. With a new phase of construction underway, those who go to the hospital in St. Joseph should know how to get in.

“They will still park in the parking garage and enter the hospital via the first floor, and once you enter that existing entrance corridor, you will see a new temporary entrance off of that,” Spring said. “You will follow that and eventually you will be greeted by a Lakeland team member.”

That team member will tell you where to go. Springer says this phase of the work will help to transform the patient experience with 80,000 square feet of renovations.

“It will be an entirely new front entrance that people will see, and when they enter, that main entrance will be completely redone with a whole new experience that we are looking forward to.”

The Pavilion project has been a $160 million investment. Springer says there is no timetable for completion of this second phase.
