State Adds 3,400 COVID Cases Wednesday

Michigan is reporting 3,443 additional cases of COVID-19 for Wednesday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the state has had a total of more than 469,000 cases since the pandemic started. Michigan reported 77 deaths for Wednesday, bringing the total to 11,775. For Wednesday, the Berrien County Health Department’s COVID dashboard showed the county with 42 additional cases of COVID over Tuesday, bringing its total since March to 8,357. The county had 1 additional death, bringing its total to 158. Berrien County on Tuesday had 31 non-ICU hospitalizations and 7 patients in the intensive care unit. Van Buren County on Tuesday reported 30 additional cases for a pandemic total of 3,704 COVID cases and 68 deaths. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says coronavirus data will not be updated on Thursday or Friday.
