A series of online chats is being held at Paw Paw Public Schools to help parents navigate the challenges of COVID-19. The district says Parent Chats start out as a presentation on a given topic, like anxiety. They’re led by Paw Paw Curriculum Director Corey Harbaugh and Mental Health Clinician Stacey Coon-Ballard. the chats then turn into a more informal chance for parents to talk with each other. The Parent Chats started in November, and they’re open to anyone. Paw Paw Public Schools says it’s emphasizing the importance of schools and parents working together during this time and having a program like the Parent Chats helps prioritize the health and well-being of families.
